Toccoa Falls College traces its roots to the founding of Golden Valley Institute inward 1907 inward Golden, NC past times doctor Richard A. Forrest. The establishment moved to Toccoa Falls, GA inward 1911 together with was reorganized equally Toccoa Falls Institute. The advert was changed to Toccoa Falls College inward 1975. The college is affiliated amongst the Christian together with Missionary Alliance.
A dam interruption on Nov 6, 1977 that led to a wall of H2O moving across the campus of Toccoa Falls College at 1:30 a.m. There were 39 dead together with lx injured.
